April 10th is ASPCA Day! Every year on April 10,

the anniversary date of the founding of the ASPCA in 1866,

the ASPCA will be celebrating ASPCA Day and encouraging

animal lovers of all ages nationwide to GO ORANGE FOR ANIMALS

in celebration of compassion and kindness for all living things everywhere.

urge for stronger laws against animal abuse. On my page I include a list of my

4th)  BE KIND TO ANIMALS/NATIONAL PET WEEK

The American Humane Association (AHA) and animal shelters across the country

celebrate Be Kind To Animals Week.

Founded in 1915 as America's first national week dedicated to animals,

Be Kind To Animals Week serves as an annual reminder of the debt

humankind owes to other animals of the earth -- both wild and domestic.

In honor of this day donations are raised for local animal shelters.

The project is best when begun early so there is plenty of time in getting

the word out and raise as much as possible for local shelters.

Donations are not just monetary! Most of your local shelters have a wish list

of general supplies they may need. Many are very inexpensive.
